Tasha grew up in Kerikeri and then moved to Dunedin to study Sport & Exercise Science and Māori Health. Tasha moved to Tauranga in 2022 for the opportunity to work at Manawaora Research, assisting with a range of ongoing research projects. 

Tasha also enjoys living in the Bay for the outdoor life and beach time.
